I wrote a whole giant post about the process that went into designing the new SunnyGrrrl logo, but I'm new to building a site on Shopify and accidentally deleted it, much to my great dismay and regret because it was actually a good, thoughtful post on the origins of the first logo and how it morphed into the new version.
Considering I'm about to post this and make merch with the new logo, I guess it won't be much of an unveiling if it's already plastered everywhere and I might as well just show you all the TWO new logos I came up with this week to best represent myself, my art, my brand, and my audience.
Here's the old SunnyGrrrl logo for reference, which wasn't even created by me and the skull was based on a very early sketch of what my skulls originally looked like: ALIEN
And without further ado, I present to you Ms. & Mx. Skull:
Updated logos for updated times! You can rock either one no matter how you identify, for sure, but Mx. Skull is there for the times when you don't feel like being overtly girly, while Ms. Skull is there for when you're feeling particularly femme!
Let's face it, Pacman was a nobody until they stuck a pink bow on him and called her Ms. Pacman, and Hello Kitty's been nothing but a white cat with no mouth and a red bow since the beginning. Hello Kitty is my inspiration, so why not SunnyGrrrl? Why not indeed.
So there ya go! New logos for all new merch! Go get it!
